Every keyboard has default keys to increase and decrease your intensity. You can see F keys on the top of your keypad, and you can find two keys which you to adjust the brightness. You have to press Fn+F_ for adjusting brightness.
In Windows 8/8.1 PC you can see the light option as move your cursor at the right top edge/bottom edge and go to settings then you can see change brightness option to adjust.
In Windows 10, you have to click battery icon which is seen in the notification area and click on brightness label to adjust brightness. By default, it increases 25% as you tap on brightness label. To adjust to other way go to settings from the start menu and select ‘System’ then select ‘Display’ and you can see the list of options. In that, you can see ‘adjust brightness level’ slider as you can move to change brightness.

As you plug in, you can observe that brightness will increase this happens because you are connected to external power. This increase in brightness can affect your eyes, so you have to adjust the brightness as same as when you are On battery. To do this go to Control Panel then Hardware and Sound then Power Options and Click on Change Plan Settings. As you click you can see the different adjustments of brightness like ‘On battery’ and ‘Plugged In’. Change them to the same level and adjust it.
You can also save battery by clicking on ‘Battery Saver’ option which is available in Settings > System > Battery Saver.
